Rolling coating is depositing metal material on a large polymer film or paper to complete the metallization process. The main products of rolling coating is packaging films and capacitors.
Since the polymer films are stored in the atmosphere, it contains a large number of water molecules. In the coating process, these water molecules will be released into the vacuum chamber with the movement of the film roll. Once the water molecules can not be absorbed or discharged in a vacuum chamber, it will affect the quality of the coating, resulting in a metallic material off.
In application of rolling coating, Supcold cryochiller can not only reduce the pumping time, but also absorb water released during movement of film to improve coating quality. Supcold cryochiller can use 60m or 80m long's cryocoil if the chamber is very large to capture vapor in chamber.
